Our Partnerships
This collaborative approach ensures that our programme of Health & Wellbeing sessions/workshops/activities are able to deliver on our aim, this being to enable support and hopefully educate the community in relation to their most common and undervalued concerns with health.

Our Workshops
As an example, in 2023, we ran a series of once-a-month sessions over a period of 6 months on endometriosis with Healthwatch Camden. Each session had speakers – who were health experts with experience in handling cases of endometriosis and/or have personal struggles with the condition; the session was undertaken as a group with people able to engage at the level they felt comfortable with and included examples of useful exercises to help alleviate physical aches related to endometriosis, group and interview time to gain more insights on various people’s experiences on the condition, and the space to provide feedback/comments. A nutritious meal and drinks were served as well.

In The Future
We want to continue to explore partnerships with providers in hosting these sessions. The most popular topics requested by the local community and health centers in the area as areas of concern were cancer, diabetes, hypertension, female health (i.e. menopause), dementia, depression, arthritis; and we are presently working with partners so that we can have sessions on all these topics, and more. Services at the Living Center supporting this programme include our signposting service for health-related concerns, which is a year-round additional support service offered in the centre.
