At Somers Town Community Association, we’re committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

Who are we?

We are Somers Town Community Association a community anchor with a 30 year history of providing essential services/activities to the ward of St Pancras and Somers Town, Somers Town Community Association is a registered charity (no. 292440) and company limited by guarantee (no 1903408). The registered address is 150 Ossulston Street London NW1 1EE. Somers Town Community Association comprises of Somers Town Community Centre, The St Pancras and Somers Town Living Centre, Somers Town Job Hub and Somers Town Community Nursery.

How do we collect information from you?

We obtain information about you when you use our services/activities, for example signing in sheets, registers, surveys, registration forms.

What type of information is collected from you?

The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address and information regarding what services/activities are accessed and when.

How is your information used?

We may use your information to:

·         to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us

·         seek your views or comments on the services/activities we provide

·         notify you of changes to our services

·         send you communications which you have requested and that may be of interest

·         to support the development and improvement of our programme of activities and services;

We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations (for example HR, Financial, Safeguarding). We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant legislation (see also Retention Policy)

Who has access to your information?

We will not sell or rent your information to third parties.

We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third Party Service Providers working with or on our behalf: We may pass your information to our third party service providers and other associated organisations for the purposes of completing tasks and providing services to you in partnership or on our behalf. However, when we use third party service providers, we disclose only the personal information that is necessary to deliver the service and we have a contract in place that requires them to keep your information secure and not to use it for their own direct marketing purposes. Please be reassured that we will not release your information to third parties beyond Somers Town Community Association and our core consortia partners, unless you have requested us to do so, or we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime.

Somers Town Community Association uses third-party vendors and hosting partners to provide services such as mailing lists. Somers Town Community Association will apply all reasonable measures to ensure that data held on Our servers is secure but cannot guarantee that security measures will not be breached.
